Why is orihime so weak
Is that house paid off, or does Orihime face a lot of rent or mortgage payments? And there is no hint that she has a job or a relative who is supporting her, either. A 10th-grade girl, living by herself Orihime is a decent cook , but her selection of ingredients is far from ordinary. She never burns or ruins her food, but then again, the meals she prepares are suitable only for her.
She's the type to combine pepper flakes, mustard, olive oil and animal crackers into a single dish. Just where did Orihime get these ideas? No one knows, and Orihime's very strange cooking was a running gag in Bleach 's first season. No one else had the guts to even try Orihime's food, even when she offers her friends a bite.
Not only does Orihime make all that strange food, but she eats it all with a straight face, too. Unless she's a really good actor, Orihime actually means it when she eats those strange lunches and proclaims "Yum!
Orihime's friend Tatsuki is bewildered but amused every day when she sees Orihime dig into these incomprehensible dishes and actually like them, and Orihime can't tell why everyone else is shocked. Isn't this normal food? Orihime thinks so. What does Orihime aspire to be when she's older? According to one of her art projects at school, she will grow up to be a giant robot. Orihime stunned Tatsuki with her lively drawing of herself, placing her head on the blocky, cartoony body of a treaded robot.
Orihime is vaporizing a burning city in that art, and given Orihime's gentle disposition and her healing powers, a destructive power fantasy like this is all the more peculiar.
Orihime didn't bring it up much after that, though. But yeah, mostly ties into people wanting Ichigo to sleep with a dead girl 10 times older than him. SunXia wrote: I don't hate her, I find her quite funny. Yeah, I get what you mean.
I liked hearing your opinion on her as a character! I get what you mean by her being the damsel in distress but then again all she could do was heal and shield. Plus the Arrancar are out of her league. About the personal space yeah I agree with you I wouldn't like to have someone invade my private space either.

Kubo loved Orihime as a character and wanted to continue writing her stating that if she wasn't so kind she would've been a very dangerous ally. Those little things about her yelling Kurosaki-kun were literally all they focused on. Thank you for writing down your oppinion it was interesting hearing anothers perspective.

I don't care if shes a damsel, although it is interesting from a feminist perspective that two major arcs revolved around saving one of the two females leads. She's the healer of the group. That makes her irreplaceable and priceless. Can she fight? Heck no! She sucks when it comes to that! But they still need her lol. The only reason she is of any use is because she can heal people!
She can heal people, so that counts right? She isn't useless but she definitely isn't strong either. I am total Ichiruki so I don't like Orihime she just annoys me anyway. I would never hate orihime I mean of course rukia beat the 9th espada which was pretty cool No, I think she isnt weak. She is enough strong. Sure she has her uses she only uses defence not offence and she hardly ever gets hurt and i dont think EVER gotten seriously injured, but rukia is strong and beautiful in a way, Orihime cant even compare.
Weak, not useless. She makes me want to punch the screen. Dude, Rejection of events? That's awesome. She's definantly not useless. Just because she can't fight doesn't mean she's useless! You don't have to be a fighter to be useful.
Lots of people would be lying dead by now. She healed Ichigo when ulquiorra almost killed him. Without her somehow the show would be over Orihime isn't useless..
She can heal others and she can make shields!! She's strong enough and she's got Ichigo to protect her. When Ulquiorra and Ichigo fought 1st fight Ulquiorra almost kill Ichigo but Orihime and Grimmjow just arrived in time and Orihime heal Ichigo, it doesn't mean that Orihime is useless, ok?
She heal Ichigo that's why, Ichigo was able to defeat Grimmjow.. How can Ichigo defeat Grimmjow without Orihime!!?? Sometimes she can b useless. I still think Orihime is kool she knows how to do karte and stuff.
Without the glasses dude rescueing her,she should be dead by now lol. Lol I chose yes first cause it's just funny that way hahaha Yes she ish She needs to go die or something I liked her before she defeated her first hollow and became whiney. She's reaaaaaaaaaaaaallyyyyy weak and close to useless because she doesn't think things through and wastes airtime thinking aloud what we already know as well as tends to stand in the middle of a fight She's just not that useful.
I really hope she dies stop getting in the way Ichigo belongs with Rukia. YuukiXZero said:. I used to think she was but I changed my mind. She's not useless I just think it's a little annoying how she keeps saying 'Kurosaki-kun' again and again. Or else there would be a whole lot of limb-less or dead Bleach characters on the show. She has a unique power! She's no normal human! Well, she ain't strong but she's not weak either ; She might be really clumsy and can be such a ditz but she has the fighting skills of a black belt.
